Flexible steel hoses
Interlink flexible steel hoses offers a cost effective and reliable solution to absorb the effects of vibration and misalignment on pipework and machinery.
STEEL HOSE DATA SHEET
Our braided stainless steel hoses have a high physical strength, enabling them to operate at significantly high pressures. They are fire and corrosion resistant, and suitable for elevated temperatures. Braided hose assemblies comprise an inner corrugated core, formed from thin wall stainless tube. The core of our flexible steel hoses is covered by one or two layers of interwoven braid, which is welded at each end with the fittings. This enhances the pressure bearing capability of the flexible steel hose, and resists the tendency to elongate under the internal pressure. It also affords a limited amount of mechanical protection. Our flexible steel hoses can be delivered by any type of couplings at your specific requirement. On our stock we have the most common flanges according to DIN, ANSI and JIS standards both in carbon steel, galvanized and stainless steel to ensure a short delivery time.
We are also able to produce jacketed hoses for external heating.
Our jacketed hoses are
contructed as a hose within a
hose. This type of hose assembly
is used if the media should
be heated, or held warm, Typically
by steam.
The steam will be flowing between
the inner hose and the
outer jacket, warming the media
flowing within the inner
hose.
The hoses are joined at each
end by specially designed fittings,
so there is no chance of
media crossovers.
Our jacketed hoses can be supplied
with couplings or flanges
to our costumers specifications.
To make sure our hoses meet our quality requirement every hose is leak tested before shipment.
Our flexible steel hoses are type approved to the following societies:
American Bureau of Shipping (ABS)
Bureau Veritas (BV)
Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
Germanischer Lloyds (GL)
Lloyds Register (LR)
Registro Italiano Navale (Rina)
